Pastor Marion

Marion Moore-Colgan was appointed to serve our congregation in July 2006. Pastor Marion has been serving United Methodist congregations since 1986. She received double bachelor’s degrees from the State University of New York while working full time. Drew Theological University in Madison, New Jersey was her seminary of choice because of its strong multicultural flavor. Pastor Marion’s heritage is Mohawk and she is very active within the Methodist Church on behalf of Native Americans. Since receiving her Master of Divinity from Drew in 1989, Marion has also served on conference and national committees to help Native American peoples.
Marion is a native of Mooers Forks, NY and is married to Mark Colgan, who is from Ellenburg, NY. They have one grown son, Daniel.
